Premise
3 childhood friends are meeting after many years apart. They are going for a diving trip to the Andamans. The film starts with Man 1 in his bedroom sitting down on his laptop to get on a video call with the other 2.
Man 1 is excited and enthusiastically asks the other 2 if they’re excited for the trip. Man 2 looking frustrated shows them a pile of forms. He is still trying to get his insurance. Man 1, is overconfident and feels like insurance is a waste of time and money. He mockingly asks Man 2 “who needs insurance? Its for losers.”
Man 2, coming from a conservative background, in a frustrated tone says his mother wont allow him to go without it. Man 1 and 3 burst out into laughter. This infuriates Man 2. “What if our flights get cancelled? Or a shark bites your hand off and you don’t have money to pay the hospital?!” Man 1’s expression changes from confident to worried. He asks them to wait a minute while he answers the door. Shuts his camera and microphone.
He paces around his room stressed out thinking of all the bad things that could happen. He dreams of the scenario of the shark biting his hand off. What if he’s at the hospital unable to pay? Sitting there in the corridor with his friend holding his detached hand. He realizes he does needs insurance.
Man 1 returns to the call and makes an excuse. He says work he’s got some work that has come up. Maybe they should delay the trip. Man 3, calm and quiet watching the drama unfold, finally speaks up. He tells them to relax and just use Atlas & Co. Where they can get their insurance with only 1 click. The other two men immediately open the app. They tap the button and instantly get their insurance.
The boys go on the trip and enjoy themselves without any worries. They dive. They chill on the beach with drinks. They go out on boats. Finally, when the time to return comes. They all reach the airport looking exhausted and downbeat. But when they enter, there is chaos everywhere. Passengers running helter-skelter. People at airline booths shouting. People frantically on their phones calling people.
Perplexed, the 3 of them look up at the flights board. All the flights are getting cancelled. A smile creeps on their faces. They know they don’t have to worry because they have Atlas&Co insurance. They head back to the beach and while swimming in the waves shout out thanking Atlas& Co. They go on to enjoy for a while longer. Sitting by the campfire at night and diving of a pier into the sea.
